10 persons abducted in Passenger boat on Bonny-Port Harcourt waterways

At least 10 persons in a passenger boat were in the early hours of today along Bonny-Port Harcourt waterways by gunmen suspected to be Sea pirates. The details of the kidnap incident remain hazy at the time of filing this report. However, it was learnt that the incident happened at about 7 am this morning when the passenger boat was sailing from Bonny to Port Harcourt. “The 10 people were abducted close to an area called the Dutch island around 0700hrs this morning”, the source said. Numerous impeccable sources confirmed to our Correspondent the gunmen intercepted the boat at gunpoint and kidnapped the passengers. At the time of filing this report, however, the Rivers State Police Command has not confirmed the incident. Court Dismisses Suit Seeking To Remove Ganduje As APC National Chairman

September 23, (THEWILL) – The Federal High Court, Abuja, has dismissed a suit seeking the removal of Abdullahi Ganduje, as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The Northern Central APC Group had dragged Ganduje, APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to court praying for nullification of the appointment of Ganduje by APC on the ground of gross violations of the party’s Constitution. Police Declare Briton, Nigerian wanted for Allegedly Planning Regime Change

The Nigerian Police Monday, unveiled the identity of a British citizen, Andrew Wynne, who was surreptitiously plotting to topple the democratically elected president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu. The police also said that documentary evidence and confessions revealed that Wynne issued directives, monitored progress, and provided finance and operational guidance to achieve unconstitutional regime change in Nigeria.
